Gospel songs I’m loving this season

Life is in phases. Seasons come and leave. And other seasons come.
One thing that remains consistent as we transit through different seasons of life is music. Music helps me (and many others out there I’m sure) stay calm, collect our thoughts, and relate on a spiritual level.
Music is a great companion on this roller coaster called life. As a Christian, it gets better because my kind of music is Gospel. Songs that not only attend to my emotions, but minister to my spirit, edify me, minister to me, and help me worship my creator.

Today I’ll be sharing a few songs from my playlist that have been on repeat in this season of my life. I listen to a wide range of gospel songs. I have a plethora of them on different playlists. But I keep going back to the ones below these days.

These songs minister to me in many ways. For some of these songs, it’s the lyrics and how they express my thoughts, for others, it’s how they help my worship life and encourage me to sing in worship to God. And for others, I don’t even know why, but I find myself listening and singing along over and over. Something in my spirit resonates with them.

I shared these songs below and I pray that whatever season you are in life, you always find songs to sing, especially to God.

Among thousands and thousands

Trust In You | Lauren Daigle

Letting go of every single dream

I lay each one down at Your feet
Every moment of my wandering
Never changes what You see
I’ve tried to win this war, I confess
My hands are weary, I need Your rest
Mighty warrior, King of the fight
No matter what I face, You’re by my side

When You don’t move the mountains
I’m needing You to move
When You don’t part the waters
I wish I could walk through
When You don’t give the answers
As I cry out to You
I will trust, I will trust
I will trust in You

Olorun Agbaye (You Are Mighty) (Ft. Chandler Moore)

You are Good, you are kind
You are more than these
I’m lost for Words trying to describe you
Elohim, El-elyon, Aleselewi
Your Greatness is all I see
There is nothing you cannot do
There’s no mountain you cannot move
If you have said it
Then you will do it
Cause You have a Track record
Of keeping Words
And you’re not about
To stop doing it now
Olorun Agbaye oh
(You are Mighty oh)
Olorun Agbaye oh, oh
(You are Mighty oh)
Shebi iwo lo f’oju Orun
(S’aso bora)
Shebi eyin le f’oju Orun
(S’aso bora)
Olorun Agbaye oh,
(You are Mighty oh)

The Blood – Nathaniel Bassey

The accuser of the brethren finds a way
To come before the Holy Church of all the earth
Points a finger at the faults and failings of the Saints
Then he makes a case
Won’t you judge them now
But I’ve got an Advocate in Heaven’s court
My Redeemer and the high Priest of my soul
Jesus Christ the Lamb, the holy Lamb of God
When he hears the case
This is what he says
I see the blood (The blood), I see the blood (The blood)
I see the blood (The blood)
I see the blood (The blood), I see the blood (The blood)
My precious blood (The blood)
I see the blood (The blood), I see the blood (The blood)
Eternal saving blood (The blood)
You don’t have to cry, I have paid the price

This Is A Move || Tasha Cobbs

Mountains are still being moved
Strongholds are still being loosed
God we believe, ’cause yes we can see it
That wonders are still what You do
I love this when y’all assist
And bodies are still being raised
Giants are still being slain
God we believe, yes we can see it
That wonders are still what You do
We are here for You, come and do what You do
We are here for You, come and do what You do
We set our hearts on You, come and do what You do
‘Cause we need a move
We need a move
Can you shout that out, we need a move
We need a move yeah
We need a move

Goodness of God feat Cecily TRIBL

I love You, Lord
For Your mercy never fails me
All my days, I’ve been held in Your hands
From the moment that I wake up
Until I lay my head
Oh, I will sing of the goodness of God
And all my life You have been faithful
And all my life You have been so, so good
With every breath that I am able
Oh, I will sing of the goodness of God

Do you know any of these songs?
