YOUR EYES

Your eyes

The first thing I noticed after your height
They were fascinating.

Special

Different

∂.

Your eyes, they revealed so much

Promises for the future. Castles we’d build together.

They communicated with mine quite often.

Revealed your vulnerability

They told me you had a soft part.

Deep down within your strong physical structure is a sweet baby,  who loves totally

They told me when you were happy and when you were not.

They told me when you were excited and when I should be worried.

Dear bestie, your eyes have been snitching on you.

They’ve gotten so close to mine.

I wrote this for you, to let you know you have beautiful eyes that became my friends long before you got close to me ♥

Dedicated to my best friend

Happy birthday in advance ♥

I love you.

While You Still Have You….

Life as a single is fun.

You don’t know how much freedom and fresh air you have until you get into a relationship.
Being single, helps you discover yourself to a large extent and that’s why it’s not advisable to rush into relationships.

The way you spend your time as a single, determines the kind of relationship you end up in.

Your single life is the only time you have you all to yourself

Believe you me, the moment you get into a relationship (not even marriage), you loose a great part of your alone time, some things will suffer.

The time to actually find yourself is when you’re single. Please don’t go in search for a partner when you haven’t found you.

While you’re still single, is the time to actually press in for more. Search for God.

In his book waiting and dating, Dr Myles Munroe said

Being alone as a single person has many advantages, especially for a believer. One of the greatest of these is the opportunity to give undivided attention to the pursuit of spiritual growth and a deep relationship with the Lord.

The time you are most prepared for dating is when you don’t need anyone to complete you, fulfill you, or instill in you a sense of worth or purpose. You are ready to date when you have first learned how to be single. Learn how to be alone.

Contentment with being alone involves learning how to be fulfilled in your singleness. A truly single person is one who is complete physically, emotionally, spiritually, and intellectually without dependence upon anyone else. Successful singles find their personal identity and sense of wholeness within themselves and in relationship with God. Because they are complete within themselves, only  whole individuals are fully comfortable being alone. They can thrive and prosper whether or not they are involved in a relationship. For such people a relationship is an added blessing; it is icing on the cake.

Be complete in God and in yourself first

Do what you have to do, read as much books as you can, pray as long as you want, reach out to as many people as you can (when you get a partner, there are certain people you won’t be able to reach out to, fully. You’ll be restricted).

Spend time with God.

If you spend your single life with Him, He won’t let you fall into wrong hands.

The best place to find a godly person is on the road to God’s Kingdom.

The best place to find the right person is on the road to fulfilling your purpose.

To the singles, please do what is needful while you still have you.

                HOW I STARTED MY BLOG

Growing up, I’d always loved the pen and paper. I wrote stories on any and everything, I even wrote story books and poems in primary 5 which never got published, some of which I presented at speech and price giving days and got standing ovations and rounds of applause. Writing is my lifestyle, it makes me so happy and excited.
There’s this inner joy I feel whenever I’m writing and I know it’s my passion. I tried starting a blog in JSS 3 but due to one reason or the other, I couldn’t.

So, eventually, I started my blog, I can’t remember the exact date but it was sometime around early 2016 and late 2015.

I didnt know what to do with it at first, so it was empty for months until my passion drove me back to it and that’s how my WordPress journey began and I must say, it’s been an amazing experience. Meeting people that share my passion, people with like minds. Ladies especially, it gives me great joy. Whenever I’m here, I’m at home. Reading and writing and I don’t want to leave.
My blog is versatile but mostly Lifestyle, Style and Gospel.

Even now, in school studying veterinary medicine, my passion for writing has only increased and seeing people like Janet of Lifestyle by janet who is a medical doctor and still runs a beautiful blog well, I’m quite convinced that there’s no stopping me.

P.S: I run a blog on blogger too, check it out Dupe’s blog

                    ADVICE TO NEW BLOGGERS

I still consider myself a new blogger but I can say a few things

    • HAVE PERSON OR PERSONS YOU LOOK UP  TO

I can’t stress how important this is. Get you a blogger that represents what you stand for. Someone that has what you want to have.
Follow them closely and learn from them.
Honor and respect them, if possible, make friends with them.

    • BE CONSISTENT

I know you’ve read this one million times but that’s just it. Be consistent. Consistency is key. Continue. Be regular, be dependable, be firm and the sky is your starting point.

    I nominate……..

    Toni – Tonitheartist

Vincent Desmond – Quirks and Outfits

    Imani – sincerelyimani

    Esther – Thoughts9367
