19 Amazing Scriptures for Hard Times

There’s pandemonium. We can’t even deny it.

Everyone is panicking. Just 3 months into the new decade and it already feels like a year. This is not the 2020 we signed up for. What’s going on?
We can’t deny the fact that a lot has happened in the past few months and a lot is still happening.
Apart from the major issues like the diseases and plagues, there are other accompanying issues like people having to stay home against their wish even though they make a living daily.Families separated in different countries because of travel bans and so on.

There are different explanations for the chaos in the world now. Unbelievers have theories to explain the issues currently going on and some of them may make sense.

While as believers we may also have so many questions about the things going on now, our first resort should be the word of God and not fear, theories or panicking.

While we take precautions, we must stop praying and looking into the Word.

Every true believer finds rest in God’s Word because that is the only sure thing. (This is my comfort in my affliction, That Your word has revived me and given me life. Psalms 119:50 AMP)

Let us take a look at 19 things the Bible says about trying times. Some, the exact words of Jesus. (These scriptures are also for trying seasons in your life)

God is our shelter and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble. So we will not be afraid, even if the earth is shaken and mountains fall into the ocean depths; even if the seas roar and rage, and the hills are shaken by the violence. There is a river that brings joy to the city of God, to the sacred house of the Most High. God is in that city, and it will never be destroyed; at early dawn he will come to its aid. Nations are terrified, kingdoms are shaken; God thunders, and the earth dissolves. The LORD Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Come and see what the LORD has done. See what amazing things he has done on earth. He stops wars all over the world; he breaks bows, destroys spears, and sets shields on fire. “Stop fighting,” he says, “and know that I am God, supreme among the nations, supreme over the world.” The LORD Almighty is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Psalms 46:1‭-‬11 GNB
